City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is a dynamic university that emphasises diversity, intercultural learning and global vision. CityU has performed strongly in international rankings. The Faculty of Law is the 2nd oldest in Hong Kong. According to the QS rankings 2019, CityU is ranked 55th in the world and 5th among the world's top 50 universities under 50 years of age; and 8th in Asia under the QS rankings 2018. 

 

There are only 3 Law Schools in Hong Kong, and the second one is in CityU. It was established in 1987. Moreover, the University has the first School of Veterinary Medicine in Hong Kong with the Letter of Reasonable Assurance from the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council granted to the School following an accreditation visit to CityU. The letter will convert into provisional accreditation status on the date that the initial class is admitted to the BVM programme.
